Speaking about Endhiran there are lot of positives as well as few negatives on the movie. This is not an as usual Rajini Movie or as usual Shankar movie or as usual Tamil movie. It is entirely a different genre in India film. It is a kind of Hollywood movie from Indians. From this movie India has proven that its capability to a make a higher quality movies. This is not a regional movie, But it is a truly an Indian Standard Hollywood movie.
Usually all the Rajini movies will start with a great intro by showing a slow camera movement to the face or a fight or a punch dialog with his own styles. But althese are missing in the movie Endhiran. This may be a disappointment to the Rajini fans but what ever shown in Endhiran is perfect for this kind of movie style.
Even though there is nothing kind of as usual Rajini movie, one can easily says that this is one of the best movie for Rajini. Especially in the last 1 hour story, no one would have done better then Rajini. It is not even able to imagine other then Rajini. He has done his role perfectly.
Songs like "Kadhal Anukkal" and "Kilimanjaro" is good but I personally prefer it is not needed for this kind of Sci Fi movie. And few more scenes can be removed along with these songs and can make a movie with in 2 hours. So that the Movie would have perfectly matched with Hollywood standard. Even if they would have dubbed to English with these changes definitely the movie would have been spoken internationally.
The Scientist Rajini doesn't have any action stunt; every thing is performed only by the Robot Rajini. The Graphics and Special Effect of the movie from starting to End is just Awesome and more then the imagination. All are equally good like in Hollywood movies.
All the credit goes to Director Shankar. He has guts to direct a movie with such a budget and lot of imagination. Finally his dream came true. This is one among best movies in India. This kind of movie is not supposed to compare with High end Hollywood movies, because Indian movies all are made keeping Indian audience in the mind and the number of people who watches the movies. If any one attempts to take 100% Hollywood in Tamil Nadu then definitely it will be a flopped one even thought if the content is good. So Endhiran is an Indian masala combined SCI FI movie and worth watching it.

- The open box office is just because of a name Super Star Rajini.
- The first Indian film to be played in Sweden.
- The first Indian film to be played in Colosseum kino.
- The first Indian Album to be top 1 in itunes US, UK and Australia region,
- The First Indian film ranked in US box office.
- The Second biggest world wide release after spider man.
- And many more…..
Negative things:
- First half is almost mixed with more unwanted scenes.
- Film is bit lengthy.
- Unnecessary placing of few songs.
- At few places there is no logic. Every thing is just Rajini’s magic.
Brief Story:
The Story goes like this, the title of the movie starts from the integration of individual parts of the robot with BGM pudhiya manitha song. Initial 10 min story goes with the effect of English movie with Hi Fi lab and Robots inside a lab. After this as usual few Indian masala scene for another few min. Then Rajini introduce the Robot to the World in one of the Robotic conference. Later this the robot is taken with Aishwarya Rai where the robot is exposed to outside world which has shown in as usual Indian Style with few comedies. After this the Robot is taken to the AIRD approval, here the Robot fails to get approve because of it don’t have any thoughts about good and bad. Then one more small instant (saving people from fire) to prove that robot don't have human kind of feelings. After this Rajini makes the robot to feel like humans. So here comes an interval.
From here the Actual story starts up. For next few min it is mixed with little animation which Robot speaks with mosquito and then followed by 2 more songs and Robot starts loving Aishwarya Rai. Then Rajini decide to give this robot to the Defense, here the Robot fails to do what ever he is supposed to do. So Angry Rajini used to break Robot into many pieces and dumps in garbage. After this the robot is found by the villain and makes it proper like previous and adds a destruction code to the Robot. So now Robot turned to a true villain to get Aishwarya Rai. From here onwards the movie is true Hollywood which is not good in telling the story other then watching it in theater. The execution and Special Graphics is amazing. All the shots are been made in Chennai. And this is definitely a visual treat for every one and all kind of people.
